General Bird Info Page

This page is designed for general information about birds that some may not know.  I am a former member of the UPA.  As a member an advantage is receiving the Peafowl Today Magazine which generally have a wealth of knowledge.   It is also a good idea to have your birds seen and deemed NPIP clean.  This will allow you to cross state lines to sell your birds at other locations.  All information gathered from other sources and I take no credit for any of it.   It is information that I have found valuable and praise others for their valuable knowledge!

This is an example of how I keep track of my breeding pens and hatchlings.  I keep these on a flash drive and I print them for a paper copy to check when needed.   When chicks hatch, I also band them using Jiffy wing bands with my name on the back and a number on the front.  I record that so I know the genetics of each chick.
